Recently we recieved a call from Campfire USA, seeking help with the completion of a project to encourage students by giving each of them a special note of encouragement. The GVSU Black Student Union volunteered to come in and help with a service project. We thought this would be a great way to partner our resources tith the needs of Campfire USA. On Saturday the 14th we hosted Campfire USA and the BSU and completed the writing of 500 notes of encouragement fot the Campfire USA students. Both groups were great to work with and we look forward to serving with them again in the future. |
